Hi, it's Kylie. Today I woke up with the same happy feeling I had felt for the last couple days. A feeling where you know you don't have to ride the bikes for the whole day! Today something else lay ahead...Europa Park!
After a yummy-in-my-tummy breakfast, we Hoornaert's set off in Axel's car for the park that was only 10 miles away. When I got there, I noticed it was very similar to Great America with lots of big rides. Europa Park, though, is separated into 10 different sections, all representing different countries in Europe -- England, France, Italy, Russia etc. I really liked all the robotic people and animals doing crazy things, like fishing for an enormous fish or hanging off a bridge.
The first thing we did was head to the back of the park (Iceland) where we lined up for our first ride, the Blue Fire rollercoaster. I really liked the loop-de-loops, corkscrews, and steep downhills. It was so much fun, we did it twice. Then we moved on to the "Woden" roller coaster -- the whole roller coaster is made of wood. The line took at least half an hour, but on the first down hill, I felt like my heart jumped into my head. Even though there were no loops or twists, the steep drops and turns made up for them. It was awesome and my favorite ride at the park.

After filling our tummies, we headed to the water rides. One of Dex's and my favorites was the Poseiden. It was a roller coaster that could leave the tracks and float in the water. Dex and I enjoyed it so much that we waited in line again while Mom and Dad went on the Silver Star (a "hyper" rollercoaster).
At the end of the day, everyone agreed that even without fireworks, our Fourth of July was a huge success.
Wow, Kylie. I felt like I was there! Thanks for the write up of the day. Sounds like an ESS day..
