Good Bye Again

Wollengong, NSW, Australia

Today is “Super Monday” as it's affectionately known in our household -- that is, the day after Superbowl Sunday and the day I proposed to Meg back in 2003. Since we are full 19 hours ahead of California time, we were able to call “back” to my sister De Ann’s house where my mom and brothers were just getting together for the Sunday afternoon big game. As we were already on to Monday here, they cleverly asked who had won the big game. Ahh, if only it worked that way, I think I could see a money making opportunity....
For the third day we headed to the beach for some body surfing, then lunch, and swimming back at the house with Cam. Unfortunately, as we would be heading up to Sydney, and Cam leaving for the great white north of Norway, it was time to say goodbye... again. It is our hope that our paths will cross again soon, with more adventures when they do.

Back at the campground, it was clear the weather was turning and the heat wave was over for a while. The cooler weather and high winds kept the sand crabs off the beach and made for a much better night's sleep for us.
